"A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot fashioned by winemaker Jean-Guillaume Prats of Cos d’Estournel. Representing a fairly priced introduction to a classic Medoc, this complex Bordeaux is loaded with fruit. Chocolate, black currant, smoke, and earth characteristics emerge from this lovely, fleshy 2005. It possesses more structure and firmness than the 2003, and should drink beautifully for 10-12 years."
